Children's Learning Centers of Fairfield County presents
An Evening with Marc Cohn and special guests The Coasters
Grammy Award Winning Singer/Songwriter Marc Cohn will perform in Concert to Benefit Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) at Stamford’s Palace Theatre Thursday, April 4, 2019.
Cohn, best known for his hit song "Walking in Memphis" from his eponymous 1991 album, will be joined by special guests, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees The Coasters. They are considered to be one of the most famous doowop groups of that golden era. Their hits include, Yakety Yak, Charlie Brown, Poison Ivy and Love Potion #9.
CLC provides high-quality and affordable early childhood education and care programs for all families regardless of income. Serving 1,000 children a year, CLC offers a comprehensive pre-K curriculum, on-site healthcare providers, family service workers and a nutrition program. Visit clcfc.org for more information.
Benefactor tickets include: Cocktail reception at 6:00pm and additional performance by Band Central fka Band Together, as well as premiere seating for the Marc Cohn and The Coasters concert in the Lower Orchestra section on the ground floor. Cocktail attire suggested.
