Event Details
Ontario native, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Meghan Patrick is as real as they come. She playfully blends her tough-as-nails exterior with a casual, cool narrative - showing the world that women can be sexy, strong, intimate, and gritty. Whether it’s composing skillfully crafted songwriting or tearing it up on tour - listeners are invited into her world and very quickly become lifelong fans. A back-to-back CCMA Female Artist of the Year whose accolades also include 19 CMAOntario Awards, she has proven that she has what it takes to create music that her fan base adores. With the release of her deeply personal project, Golden Child, she has reached a point where after 8 years in Nashville, she can peel back even more layers and be even more authentic.
The album touches on trauma in her past that Meghan is finally ready to release, discuss, and heal from through her music. “Of course, I’m chasing success in my career, but more and more I am chasing fulfillment and fulfillment doesn’t just come from making money and winning awards and having success,” Patrick explains. “I have had those things and it did not fulfill me in the way I thought it would.” She now coins the term, Big Sister Country as a way of sharing advice through her impactful lyrics.
A multi-faceted musician from a tender age, her background includes co-founding an all-girl band at age 13, studying opera and jazz, fronting a 10-piece funk act that once opened for Aretha Franklin, and touring extensively as part of a bluegrass group. She names John Prine, Neil Young, and Waylon Jennings as a few of her musical inspirations.
There has never been a plan B, determined to foster a creative career and now as this new era of her music is released, she continues to evolve. Golden Child is a testament to her newfound love for herself and the journey, therapy, and self-reflection it took to get to this place. “I made this record exactly how I wanted to, I told exactly the story I wanted to tell, I told the truth and when you tell the truth, you have nothing to worry about.” This clean slate musically and emotionally has allowed her to release the most impactful songs of her career.

Carolyn Miller - Opener
New York's rising country artist Carolyn Miller has been performing professionally since the age of eight. A graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music, Miller’s background is in theatre, film and TV, as well as voice-overs and commercials. Influenced by country music artists like Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill, along with pop icons Kelly Clarkson and Adele, Miller has used her big, powerful voice to create her own style that captures the true essence of country-pop. She released her debut EP in 2018 independently and since then, Miller has not only headlined/sold out numerous shows around the northeast, but also shared the stage with country superstars like Sam Hunt, Dustin Lynch, Chris Janson, Chase Rice, Ashley McBryde, Walker Hayes, and many more.
Miller has also been seen on an impressive list of outlets including CMT, Hollywood Life, Taste of Country, Sounds Like Nashville, Country Rebel, American Songwriter, Country Now, The Boot and her songs/videos have been added into rotation on Music Choice and The Country Network. Splitting residency between New York and Nashville, Miller has already begun to make a name for herself in Music City, being tapped "One to Watch" by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and named a Next Up Now artist by CMT. Miller had a massive year, including appearances at Carolina Country Music Fest, Summerfest, Barefoot Country Music Fest, FarmJam Festival, support dates with Lee Brice, Eli Young Band, a slew of national anthem performances, and headlining dates of her own. Additionally, she took the digital world by storm when her self-penned wedding song “When I Say I Do Today” went viral on TikTok, with over 2 million plays, and debuted on the iTunes Country charts at #3 and #4 in the USA, UK, and Australia (#19 all-genre). The music video also saw support from CMT. Whether you’ve heard Miller on the radio, Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds: Country, New Music Nashville, Apple Music’s Best New Songs, or Pandora’s Rising Women of Country, you’re bound to hear more from this “rising country star” (Hollywood Life).
